Job description

Our Construction Client builds solar, hydropower and wind farms, as well as energy transmission and distribution infrastructures worldwide. They are currently seeking an Estimator located in Watford to join their team permanently.  

As an Estimator, you will be working on large scale transport infrastructure projects, producing commercial specialist, market leading and construction services to the UK highways sector.  

 

Some of the main duties include:  

• Supporting Bid Manager  

• Putting Tenders together  

• Providing Estimates  

• Pricing works

Requirements

• Strong Highways or Civils background  

• Logging of tenders  

• Produce tender data analysis in Excel, e.g. sub-contractors/suppliers’ rates  

• Estimating form first principles  

• Excellent time management  

• Experience in a similar role  

• Educated at A level or above  

• Ability to use Adobe Pro or CAD  

• Risk analysis of schemes
