Site Engineer - WATER

Our client is a major tier 1 main contractor that works in the water and civils markets across the UK, due to recent project wins they now have several fantastic opportunities and are recruiting for a Site Engineer - WATER located in Peterborough. This role has a salary of £30,000 - £40,000.  

Job Description:  

Their Site Engineers are critical to the successful delivery of the Strategic Pipeline Alliance. Reporting to the Senior Site Engineer and Site Agent they will be responsible for:  

- Management of day-to-day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals.  

- Assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety and environmental management.  

- Overseeing quality control and assist in the implementation of SPA’s SHEQ vision.  

- Assisting the QS with quantities and project progress.  

- Have a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.  

- Support the Senior Site Engineer and Site Agent with day to day running of the site.  

- Act under the Site Manager as a supervisor on site for specialist subcontractors.  

- Transfer digital and paper data/drawings onto site, and back into digital models enabling accurate and auditable record keeping.  

They are looking for engaged and passionate Site Engineers who:  

- Can demonstrate experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of work, preferably within the water sector.  

- Work with site management team to help deliver site safety, productivity and culture.  

- Can take a lead on ensuring our product is right first time.  

- Has a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done!
