Our water client is currently seeking a Water Hygiene Service Technician to join their team in London.

A great opportunity to provide excellent customer service whilst being the face of our clients Services to their customers/ clients:  

To deliver a high level of customer service whilst meeting health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality and contractual compliance. Providing client base with both Contract Management & Service Support, Specialising in Water Hygiene related activities whilst maintaining legislative compliance including the ability to assess, diagnose, determine the most appropriate resolution and support to any interruptions / issues which may evolve within those assets managed. Key daily duties will include sampling, temperature monitoring and tank inspections/ cleaning across multiple sites. The successful applicant’s typical working pattern will be Monday – Friday 08.00 – 16.30 however on occasion you may be required to work an evening or weekend shift.  

 

As a Service Technician your key accountabilities will include:  

• Deliver a high level of customer service whilst meeting health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality and contractual compliance.  

• Work with the scheduling team and operations management to maximise productivity and efficiency.  

• Carry out Hazard/Risk assessments as required on each individual sites.  

• Carrying out monitoring and associated tasks as directed by Scheduler / Line Manager.  

• Completion of all required documentation to ensure compliance with legislation.

Requirements

Experience required to succeed in this role it is:  

Our client is looking for someone that has begun to develop a career in the water treatment/ water hygiene industry and who wants to continue to develop in this area. To be successful with this application process you will have City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training and a good level of knowledge of both Domestic and Industrial water systems. Previous plumbing experience would be a good fit for this role as would a Chemistry related degree. The role will involve lone working in a multi-site capacity, working to strict quality control systems and operational procedures so you will need to be highly motivated, able to use your own initiative and organised. As the role will be required to cover multiple sites over a fairly large geographical area a driving licence is essential.
