Thames Water race for £500m medium projects deal

Thames Water is inviting firms to tender for its next 10-year programme of above-ground asset infrastructure projects.

 

The water company plans to split the next round of procurement into a quartet of what it dubs as runway frameworks based on size of project.

 

The first of these to come out to tender, known as RW1, will cover non infrastructure medium-sized projects valued from £250,000 to £5m.

 

This is split into three lots cover separate MEICA, Civils and combined non-infrastructure projects

 

  • Lot1 – MEICA – Medium Project Work – Total value £167m
  • Lot 2 – Civils – Medium Project Work – Total value £167m
  • Lot 3 -MEICA and Civils Works – Total value £167m

 

Firms have until 20 March to complete PQQs.

 

Also in the Thames Water tender pipeline is RW0, covering the smallest projects of under £250,000.

 

RW2 will cover both Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure works between £5m and £25m, while RW3 will deliver major projects exceeding £25m.
