Job description

Our client is a globally recognised design consultancy with projects across the UK, they are recruiting for Town Planners of all levels throughout the country for varied projects in development, energy, water and transportation sectors.  

 

 

 

Duties:  

 

- Provide advise to growing markets in the development, energy, water and transportation sectors.  

 

- Must have the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team in environmental, engineering and design disciplines across the wider team UK and international teams.  

 

- Deliver and work on projects for a wide range of clients in the public and private sectors.  

 

- Strong verbal and written communication skills  

 

- Flexibly apply knowledge and experience to a variety of planning related tasks.  

 

- Possess creative instincts and the ability to multi task.  

 

Requirements

- Experience in a Town Planner role with a consultancy or client side  

 

- A relevant planning degree and either RTPI membership or evidence of working towards RTPI membership (or related/equivalent qualifications/professional membership) are desirable.  

 

- You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, determined and resilient.  

 

- Work under pressure, with excellent time management and success in meeting tight deadlines. Manage and work on multiple assignments delivering outputs on time and within budget.  

 

- Work well as part of multi-disciplinary teams with the confidence to input effectively as an individual across a range of projects, consenting and strategic planning, and a range of geographies.  

 

- Prepare accurate and well-presented reports and presentations to a high standard.
