Job Title: Scheduler

Location : Slough , Berkshire

Salary : £30,000 - £40,000

Role Purpose:

To plan and schedule all works undertaken by the business whilst ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with contract SLI’s and customer requirements. Monitor job completion customer service support to field operatives, sub-contractors and liaise with key clients. To act as the subject matter expert in relation to the corporate work management system (Geopal) and provide accurate and timely MI

Role Responsibilities:

Communication

Contacting customer regarding planned work requests, prioritise and manage customer expectations of service provision.

Liaise with Client representatives regarding works progress, problems and outcomes.

Field Operations

Co-ordinate, prioritise and schedule work requests to field operatives and contractors as required to ensure optimum performance under Client contract requirements.

Monitor ongoing performance on job management against targets and liaise with Operations Manager where appropriate.

Record Keeping / Administration

Tacking job completions and proactively seek update from field ensuring data entry into all job management systems are maintained effectively

Ensure all associated administrative systems are maintained as required.

IT Systems

Maintain updates on the IT Systems and ensure correct data input and quality of information.

Applicant Requirements:

Hold a minimum of GCSE level English and Maths or equivalent

At least 5 years experience in a similar role

Skills and knowledge:

Time management and planning organisation

Methodological approach

High Attention to detail

Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of relevant WMS software including GeoPal (a distinct advantage)

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Strong Problem solving

Work as part of a team and individually

IT literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office

Ability to work to achieve high levels of accuracy in busy working environment

Ability to prioritise workloads

Ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels

Willingness to help across all departments as and when required
