My client is a specialist water treatment company providing rapidly deployable solutions to the Construction, Food and Wastewater Industries. Their services are used by the largest civil engineering contractors in the UK as well as a number of household brands producing anything from crisps to beans to whisky. My client is the UK’s number one solutions provider for on site water treatment, wet waste processing and the prevention of waterborne pollution. They offer an unrivalled range of rapidly deployable solutions for silt management and prevention, control and treatment of water contamination available either for hire or purchase.
About The Role
To support the company in planning, co-ordinating and organising work schedule for field engineering services and supporting sale transactions we are looking for a Sales and Service Co-ordinator to become an integral part of the team based from our impressive site in Monmouth. This varied and busy role will bring the individual in contact with all stakeholders across the business including including our teams out in the field.
The successful candidate will ideally come from a similar type of role within the Water industry and have proven history of managing workflows across multiple sites and the organised and co-ordination of operations.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide support to the Field Services Operational team in co-ordinating work schedules for field engineering teams, including collating and submitting documentation for inductions and site authorisations
Compile job information packs for work allocations, equipment schedules including RAMS and accreditations all necessary for compliance with site / Client requirements
Liaise with sales and workshop teams to determine lead times and availability of resources
Liaise with Clients in confirming engineering resources and ensuring the inspection and service reports are recorded and actions followed up
Respond to customer enquiries for simple transactions sales on treatment solutions, providing quotations for spares and component plant items where requested to do so.
Update, manage and analyse the organisations Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
Carry out end of contract customer satisfaction surveys.
Maintain good positive communications and assist colleagues in the interests of the company
Prepare quotations to customers for spares, service and ancillaries in line with pricing schedules
Record, receipt and order acknowledgement for sales and service works
Preparation of RAMS and associated documentation, suitable for the site / Client requirements
Engage with continuous improvement to existing business systems for the benefit of the company
Skills and qualifications:
Construction or engineering related background (preferable)
IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent preferable)
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey critical information
Competent in the use of Office 365 notably Excel and Word.
Understanding and use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
