Job Title : Regional Sales Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location : London / Remote Working

Salary :£45,000 - £55,000

As my client's Clean Energy’s low carbon heat and power business continues to grow, they are on the lookout for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to cover the South of England. Main responsibilities of the role:

Follow the sales process and promote key and consistent messages to all our customers, ultimately succeeding in the Southern area

To work on all sales opportunities within your designated area as forecasted by the Company’s sales and business strategies. Focus will be on Biomass Fuel, O&M, and Heat contract opportunities

To achieve or exceed all sales targets and KPIs for your area and work closely with other team members and line manager

Ensure all the relevant technical information is prepared along with an understanding of potential clients prior to presentations and meetings

To deliver New Business Revenue and profit from within your specified geographical area and/or target sector in line with the sales strategy

To build key relationships across the whole customer organisation, which in turn will deliver additional Business Revenue and profit from those customers

To manage and monitor allocated key accounts in your area to ensure 100% retention, look to cross-sell and upsell to all key accounts

Deliver and where possible exceed, results in line with agreed budgets and strategies

Identify key players within the customer organisation and support operations in understanding how each relationship works and who reports to who

To work in a collaborative manner while supporting operational colleagues who are responsible for delivering the service to the nominated account to ensure that key relationships are used effectively to leverage additional business from the account

Provide accurate quotations and proposals in a timely manner in accordance with company administrative and operations procedures, constantly seeking to improve; ensuring the Company stays at the forefront of the marketplace

Using and maintaining the CRM system with up to date information at all times

Promote best practice in sales delivery in all propositions and working practices

To support internal departments in managing customer requirements and expectations

To carry out other sales functions at various times as requested by your line manager

The candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

Experience in a field sales role, preferably in renewable energy

Understanding of CRM and Pipelines

Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Person specification:

Must be a team player with the ability to also work on own initiative

Able to travel as and when required

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Target driven with a proven record of exceeding targets

Remuneration:

The company are offering a competitive salary and commission structure which will be discussed at interview
