Key to the success of the project will be the emphasis on digital delivery to BIM Level 2. The project has already invested in new technology and innovation and you will continue to promote this approach as well as bringing new ideas to assist with project delivery.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance - with safety and quality procedures; with company legal, contractual and governance obligations and with budgetary boundaries. As part of this you’ll undertake the legally defined role of Principal Designer within H&S legislation. As the face of the project, you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders including residents, customers, contractors and the general public and you will be expected to act as an ambassador for the organisation at all times.

You will have water industry experience as well as being able to demonstrate construction management and office-based management experience. The role may suit individuals looking for your next step up or seeking experience of more complex projects. Complementing your technical skills, your well-honed organisational and decision-making skills will enable you to drive the project forward in the right way. You’ll be a positive and effective people manager, able to motivate your team to achieve project outcomes. You will have a range of internal and external stakeholders so we’ll expect you to demonstrate well-developed communication and influencing abilities too.
