Commercially astute – responsible for the P&L of their project and is expected to understand cost control and monitoring as well as value management and generation – working alongside the commercial team

Good working knowledge of the NEC and ICC forms of contract

Demonstrable management skills in civil engineering projects

Ability to produce and maintain contract and working programmes and understands the commercial implications of such (Montel use MS Project)

Good report writing skills

Good experience working on highway schemes

Ideally NRSWA Supervisor/ CSCS (Black card)/ First Aid at Work/SMSTS
