To plan, manage and monitor contract works effectively to achieve business objectives.

To fulfil functions of deputy in their absence and any other reasonable functions as requested by Managing Director.

To undertake functions of deputy in their absence and any other reasonable activities relevant to the function as and when required by the Senior Project Manager.

➢ Drainage, lining and civil engineering construction techniques.

➢ Network Rail Standards NR/L2/OHS/019 Planning and Delivery Safe Work

➢ Network Rail Safe Work Planning Method

➢ Basic product, safety, health and environmental law

➢ Risk Assessment techniques.

➢ Working in Rail Environment


➢ Co-operation

➢ Quality driven “Right First Time” appropriate.

➢ Example of good safety, health and environmental performance.

Training / Qualifications

➢ CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) ➢ Personal Track Safety including ICI. ➢ Supervisory management training desirable

➢ Safety, Health and Environment Awareness

➢ CSCS Contract Manager and related NVQ

➢ Current full driving license


➢ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management and deployment of workers in the railway industry.
