Job Content
Primary tasks and duties:
1. Provide advice and support to the commercial team
2. Management of application and credit control processes
3. Management of the optimisation of income
4. Management of all processes with regard to costing and forecasting
5. Management of change control system
6. Input into the management of project risk
7. Management of CTC and CVRs
8. Management of the full sub-contract cycle
9. Provision of commercial advice to Project Team
10. Development and improvement of relationships within Project Team and with Client subcontractors and suppliers
11. Management of dispute resolution
12. Management of Training plans and mentoring
13. Input into the tendering process
Qualifications and Training
• Relevant degree or HND/HNC equivalent (E)
• Professional Qualification (D)
Knowledge
• Good working knowledge of construction industry conditions of contract (E)
• Knowledge of COINS (E)
Skills and Abilities
• Good mathematical skills (E)
• Ability to work effectively in a team (E)
• Good communication skills (E)
• Ability to lead others (E)
Relevant Experience
• Extensive post-degree experience working in the contracting commercial department. Some experience of which should be on multi-disciplined rail projects.
