My client is a tier 1 main contractor working on several frameworks across the UK and they are looking to strengthen their delivery team with the appointment of a Framework Manager to work in London on their Thames Water AMP7 frameworks. The projects will deliver a range of schemes to maintain and improve Thames Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works.  

 

 

Key Responsibilities  

 

Delivery of MEICA schemes across the London & South East region  

 

Develop, implement, and manage the MEICA strategy  

 

Work closely with Programme Manager Leads and Design Management to ensure consistency of approach across the framework  

 

Full life cycle responsibility for MEICA from project establishment to commissioning handover  

 

Provide early MEICA delivery input into design development/optioneering Detailed Design and establish a consistent approach to design review of supply chain submissions  

 

Support the Programme managers with resource planning and recruitment  

 

Working with the Programme Managers, Procurement Manager and Ops Lead to establish framework wide MEICA procurement strategy  

 

Meet regularly with delivery leads to ensure MEICA is being delivered in a consistent manner  

 

Meet with MEICA teams on a regular basis to review performance and feedback  

 

Implement methods and processes ensure behaviours are developed to drive out excellence into all projects  

 

Be fully conversant with MEICA subcontractor contract conditions, and any risks associated with their process or methodology  

 

Ensure all projects are delivered with zero H&S and Environmental incidents and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the CMDP Health, Safety & Welfare and Environmental Policies  

 

 

 

About you  

 

Water/wastewater experience preferred but not essential  

 

Engineering or Construction background  

 

Experience in guiding a large team of MEICA staff and contractors  

 

Proven ability to manage a large MEICA team in a joint venture environment  

 

Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law  

 

Capability to influence internal stakeholders to guide the MEICA strategy
