My client is heading into their latest Asset Management Period, known as AMP 7 and this will see them deliver a £2bn programme of work over the next five years.

Their ability to ensure maximum efficiencies are gained and full compliance with the Water governance procedure is achieved will come under greater scrutiny as they look to meet their ambitious objectives for AMP7. To help achieve commercial excellence across a range of programmes of work, my client is looking for a Digital Lead.

What will you be doing as our new Digital Lead?

As our new Digital Lead, you’ll have an extensive understanding of capital delivery programmes and experience of exploiting digital technologies to drive efficiency by best utilising and empowering people and processes. In addition, you’ll raise the awareness of the Digital team across the organisation by ensuring stakeholders are aware of added value the team can offer.

Key Responsibilities:

 Manage the development and evolution of the Digital strategy so it effectively interfaces with all relevant partners to drive towards the common goals and objectives

 Provide a collaborative, transparent and pro-active stakeholder management approach which oversees smooth change management through road maps and a first-class communication strategy

 Overseeing the delivery of digital projects to ensure that they are delivered in line with expected timeframes, costs and quality standards

 Work with the Digital IT partner to ensure adhesion to AW Cyber requirements and IS/IT strategies

 Ensure that a capability matrix is created and in place for all implemented solutions

 Manage the team on a day-to-day basis by creating an innovative and progressive culture where individuals can develop and are not afraid to fail

Person Specification:

To be considered for this Alliance critical role:

 To join and lead a team on this exciting journey, you’ll have a proven track record working at senior levels dealing with large and complex transformations whilst demonstrating experience of defining strategies.

 As a skilled communicator and leader, you’ll be accustomed to engaging with stakeholders of all levels and managing direct and in-direct teams in a dynamic environment.

 Keeping your “finger on the pulse” in terms of how technology can be used to improve business outputs, you’ll have a track record of working with technology projects and experience of various delivery methodologies.
