My client is a major water company based in the South West and they are currently have an immediate requirement to appoint Civil Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical Design Coordinator (or Assistant Project Manager) to join their Water team. The Design Coordinator will work as part of the key project management delivery team, responsible for coordinating works on several water treatment frameworks.
The Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating engineering design for large water treatment projects of work over a period of time. Reporting into the Project Manager, duties include but are not limited to;
oTracking the project deliverables, liaising with the internal and external design teams
oUpdating and tracking the design programme
oManaging change
oUpdating and tracking procurement using the procurement schedule
oConstructability liaison between the design team and Project Manager
oProviding technical assistance to project teams
oContinued development and review of quality management systems
oTechnical Case Studies and Marketing Data Sheets
Preferred background:
oProfessional experience working with design for a water treatment consultancy
oCivil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering design
