Senior Design Manager – Water Projects

Our client is a major design, engineering and project management consultancy specialising in all aspects of the Water sector, they are currently seeking a Senior Design Manager to join one of their flagship offices including Epsom, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds.  

Your Purpose:  

- Deliver technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.  

- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.  

- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.  

- Understand, communicate and manage project risks.  

- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

- Chartered Civil Engineer.  

- Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build.  

- Sound knowledge in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply and wastewater collection systems and familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.  

- Sound commercial, contractual and programme experience.
