MEICA Site Supervisor/Manager, North West

• Extensive knowledge of the scheme programme and what its objectives are

• Liaise directly with the clients PM/UU Client on a day to day basis

• Update and maintain of SHEQ Documents and procedures promoting best practice to achieve high KPI scores

• Chair weekly construction meetings with Untied Utilities, record minutes and action log

• Produce Weekly Lookaheads

• Development of RAMS and review and approval of sub-contractors

• Be knowledgeable of the Standards for Contract Forms and documentation

• Enforce all H & S related manners on site

• Liaise with civil colleagues and sub-contractors

• Site inductions

• Efficient management of onsite labour

• Programme review with PM to ensure effective management of On-site labour

• Liaison with PM/Electrical design to develop Cable schedules

• Develop cable termination sheets

• Liaison with PM to ensure materials are ordered correctly and on time

• Organise Installation of containment

• Organise Installation of cables and correct use of cable glands dependant on installation type

• Organise Electrical connection of all cabling

• Organise Pre-commissioning checks on motors. Direction check / overload set. Etc.

• Electrical fault finding

• Electrical knowledge of motor connections. DOL ASD etc.

• Electrical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems

• Cleanliness. The removal and disposal of any materials associated with any task.

• Be mindful of health, safety & environmental responsibilities when completing all tasks

• Commercially aware to inform the clients PM of any EWN/CE opportunities

• Be considerate of colleagues, clients and others whilst performing duties

Requirements

• A Site Manager with excellent record-keeping and H&S experience.

• SMSTS

• CSCS

• EUSR Water Hygiene Card

• Prior UU experience and an Good Mechanical electrical engineering background and knowledge of civils

• First Aid Cert

• Based local to site

• 6 month contract however we have to other projects coming up that may become an opportunity for the right candidate

• Mileage to main site included in rate

• Mileage to other sites from main site

• May involve occasional night shift or weekend work, this will be paid in time in lieu
