Job description

Our client is one of the world’s most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies. They are currently looking for a Clean Water Network Specialist to join one of their UK teams on a permanent basis and to help support their increasing portfolio and workload.  

 

Locations: Epsom, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Warrington, Glasgow, Leeds, Peterborough (potentially other-flexible working)  

 

The successful candidate shall demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the water market sector, excellent technical skills and have a proven track record of business development, client management, project management and line management. You will be required to undertake a key role in the delivery of clean water network Infrastructure projects and as well as being responsible in supporting the leadership and development of the company clean water network capability.  

 

They are looking for someone who is degree qualified, have appropriate professional qualifications, and have a broad range of experience in:  

-Management and technical supervision of a team of clean water Network engineers.  

-Implementation of industry leading solutions and development of innovative solutions.  

-Building and calibrating network models.  

-Using network models for planning, operational and design purposes.  

-Management of Detailed Zonal Studies delivery, Pressure Management and DMA Design.  

 

Other key attributes required include:  

Demonstrable track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the water industry.  

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.  

Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal staff and external Clients.  

Full clean UK driving licence.  

 

 

The role will have key responsibilities relating to business performance, business resilience and technical reputation and will contribute to the implementation of business strategy. Key responsibilities include:  

-Assuming Technical Lead role on projects to ensure the company delivers Smarter, Faster and More Reliable outcomes  

-Undertaking Project Director role on projects where required.  

-Undertaking Programme / Framework Manager roles on strategic / multi-disciplinary projects.  

-Promoting staff development through training, on-the-job experience, and personal development.  

-Ensuring compliance with corporate standards and policies.  

-Management / technical support of bidding opportunities to win work and identify and mitigate risks.
