Location: Hampshire (commutable from Guildford, Basingstoke, Reading, Swindon, Andover, Aldershot and Winchester)  

 

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus car/car allowance & Private Medical Health Care  

 

Start Date : Immediate  

 

Company Information:  

My client are a Tier 1 contractor to Network Rail. Due to recent success of securing projects and growing as a principal and framework contractor they are looking for an experienced Possessions Manager.  

 

Project Information:  

My client is looking for a capable Possessions Planner to work on a number high profile Rail projects in the Hampshire area. The individual will be responsible for covering multiple sites so no day will ever be the same.  

 

Essential Experience:  

• Significant experience of works planning and scheduling within a rail environment  

• Sentinel SSOW Planner competency  

• In-depth knowledge of Network Rail standards and procedures  

• In-depth PPS, GZAC and daytime access planning knowledge  

• Sentinel Personal Track Safety (PTS)  

• In-depth knowledge of ALO  

 

Role Details  

• Responsible for the timely production, collation and distribution of quality Safe Work Packs, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.  

• Lead, manage and develop a team of Planners.  

• Ensure all Safe Work Packs are returned and monitored in line with PDSW process timescales and quantities.  

• Review all possession documentation and identify any changes or errors that would affect safety of the possessions.  

• Attend internal project start-up meetings and subsequent progress meetings to ensure the accuracy of all Safe Work Pack requirements.  

• Attend external client possession planning meetings, advising on SSOW requirements.  

• Work closely with the Delivery team to ensure SSOW practices are understood and adhered to and that packs are produced accurately and in a timely manner.  

• Brief and update Delivery Managers and site teams prior to works commencing, ensuring that it is understood.
