Quantity Surveyor

Our Client is a highly regarded principal contractor. They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years’ experience in Rail. Other levels of experience, Senior Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Quantity Surveyor, will be considered. Candidate will be working on ongoing project in East Anglia, they will be expected to spend 60% of their time in head office for the first 6 months.  

Job Description:  

Some of the main duties for this role include:  

• Supporting Bid Manager  

• Putting Tenders together  

• Providing Estimates  

• Pricing works

- Highly desirable proven background in Rail  

- Must have risk accreditation  

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in rail  

- Needs to have a confidant personality, ability to voice ideas  

Desirable experience:  

- Project management  

- Technical knowledge of projects
