Job title: Senior Estimator/Civils Estimator

Location: Anglia

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 plus car/car allowance, pension, healthcare and life assurance

My client has an enviable reputation within the Rail and Civil engineering industries. My client provides exemplary services in the Design and Delivery of highly complex multi-disciplinary projects. Due to continued growth and increased volume of tendered works estimating support is required.

Project Information:

As the projects are multi-disciplinary, this can range from working on Bridges, Track, Tunnels, Stations, Mechanical & Electrical and Electrification & Plant works.. Minor maintenance frameworks are also included in this.

Essential Experience:

- Estimating experience in Rail environment

-Main Contractor background

-Previous experience of working on tenders/bids

-Scoping tender opportunities

-Operational site based background

Role Details

- Preparing and Managing tenders through to delivery

-Interface with Supply Chain team

-Providing Technical assistance

-Take offs from Drawings and producing cost effective tenders from first principles

-Preparing Reports

-Providing assistance to proposals and management functions
