Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA_OPCO) has selected Technip to provide management consultancy (PMC) services for the engineering, procurement and construction EPC) stages of its Zakum oil lines replacement project Phase 1 (ZKOL).
Under the contract, Technip will be replacing aged oil pipelines in the Zakum field in order to improve the integrity assessment and maintain the company’s oil production. During the first phase of the project, 90 km of oil pipelines will be replaced and necessary modification works will be carried out on associated wellhead towers.
With Technip's project management assistance, the Group's operating centre in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is expecting to complete the replacement works by 2016.
