The new T-shaped building, previously called One Mitre Square, will provide 26,000 square metres of office space over 21 floors.
It is expected to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating when complete.
According to the contract, Skanska will deliver the construction, mechanical & electrical engineering and installation of services within the main plant rooms.
The firm was selected as a preferred bidder for the job in a competition with Balfour Beatty and Carillion.

- GVA Second London Wall (project manager)
- Davis Langdon (quantity surveyor)
- Ramboll (structural engineer)
- Grontmij (M&E engineer and fire engineer)
Construction works are expected to start in August 2014 and be completed by September 2016.
