MWH has been appointed by Southern Water as its new strategic solutions partner for the AMP6 period, between 2015 and 2020. During this time, MWH will deliver the company’s £3.1bn business plan. The contract begins this month and will run until late March 2020.
Southern Water provides water and wastewater services for Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. MWH will provide support during the definition, feasibility and outline design stages of AMP6 projects. As one of three consultancies awarded positions on Southern Trent’s ten year engineering consultancy framework worth between £8 million and £25 million per year, MWH will also oversee the work carried out by design and delivery partners over the period.
