Renewable energy breaks generation record

According to the latest government figures, renewable energy accounted for almost 30% of all the electricity generated inthe UK between April and JuneStatistics published yesterday in the latest energy trends report by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) shows a record 29.8 per cent was generated by renewable energy sources in the second quarter of 2017.
