Anglo organises lunch to celebrate

Following on from our article about Women in engineering, we would like to highlight how much we value our female staff at Anglo, so much so that women actually make up more than half of our workforce.

We can proudly say that our staff is what has helped the company overcoming most challenges, including two economic recessions. One of our most helpful and dedicated employees over the past decades has been Melissa Self, a delightful woman working as a Recruitment Consultant, placing engineers with an electrical, mechanical, I&C, automation (MEICA) or civil bias within the niche UK water industry.

Melissa has been with Anglo Technical for just under 17 years. She started in a basic data entry role and has kept learning through hard work and a resilient attitude. Melissa has learnt to be a savvy recruiter within a couple of years and has now been a successful Recruitment Consultant in the water recruitment team for the past 10 years.

We are proud of Melissa, she is a devoted and loyal employee, a respected and fair manager with a charming attitude and has now just given birth to a beautiful baby boy!

Melissa, congratulations on this happy occasion! We are so pleased to hear you and the baby are doing just fine.

We know you will give your little bundle of joy the nurturing, both emotional and spiritual, a child needs to grow up healthy and happy in today’s world. You and Aaron are special people who will make great parents. Make sure you spend the next few weeks at home enjoying every “coo” and hug. Those moments are going to be precious as the years go by.

Here’s to your continued health and happiness together.
