BIM CONFERENCE 2021-DIGITAL DELIVERY: BUSINESS AS USUAL IN AMP7?

BIM conference

The past 12 months have seen massive changes in our lives and the way we work.  To deliver our capital programmes without significant delays and disruptions through Lock-down’s, Home Working, Social Distancing and Safe Working Practices we have had to evolve how we deliver projects, not only in the short term but also for the mid to long term.

Digital Transformation and the accelerated adoption of BIM and Digital Delivery has been a key factor in enabling us to successfully deliver in the face of these unprecedented challenges.  This year’s 8th BIM Conference will reflect on how to embrace change at both an organisational and personal level. It will also unpack how key digital delivery tools are being applied to deliver projects even more efficiently as we start delivering AMP7; widely regarded as the most ambitious, but also challenging, investment period yet.

We are excited to announce MWH Treatment once again as our headline sponsor and chair for this year’s conference. MWH Treatment will present on how they have embedded Digital Delivery into their way of working. We will also hear presentations by AvevaBarhaleEPS Water and Datum 360 which will feature the challenges, benefits and proofs of key Digital Delivery tools on SurveyModelRehearseAssemble and Transfer
(Digital Field Management) from completed projects.

The core questions we aim to answer through this event are:

  • How do we make Digital Delivery Business as Usual in AMP7?
  • How do we embed Digital Delivery Transformation in an organisation?
  • What are the core Digital Delivery Tools and what efficiencies do these tools bring?
  • How do Digital Delivery tools enable us to change the way we deliver projects?
  • How do we support our colleagues through these changes?

@one Alliance will present on how they use digital technology and will walk us through a Project Life Cycle Journey to show their approach to Digital Transformation. The conference will conclude with a keynote presentation from Visualyze that will provide practical advice on change management techniques to help us all as our Delivery Approach evolves and Digital Delivery becomes business as usual in AMP7.
