This role with our Central Government Client is for a Software Programmer (Autopilot Simulation Model) for 350 working days. This role is located in Portsdown West for 5 days a week to start and then when ready you can work from home.  


Job Description:  


Our Client has a requirement for a CTW software programmer to implement new control/autopilot methods and algorithms within an existing missile framework model. An outline description of the autopilot algorithms and control methods will be made available. These need to be interpreted into appropriate soft-ware requirements / design and then incorporated into the existing model along with appropriate verification/validation.


- Degree in a computer related discipline or STEM subject  

- C++ coding experience  

- Ability to adapt from outline engineering description / research reports through appropriate design documentation into working code.  

- Ability to work within extant architectures / frameworks.  

- Experience in coding for modelling & simulation  




- Experience in Control Theory / Systems  

- MATLAB / Simulink experience  

- Experience in missile flyout modelling  

- Experience of software verification testing
