Our major public sector client is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner, on a 6 month contract paying £400 P/D inside IR35.

Role: Human Resources Business Partner

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: London - element on travel to client locations covering south east – London Victoria to Brighton – 2-3 days per week in London or on client site - 2-3 days from home (train travel is provided)

Pay Rate to Candidate: £400 p/d umb

Minimum Requirement:

significant ER experience in dealing with complex ER cases, and supporting employment tribunals. Ideally employees who have been in the following role types: Employee Relations Business Partner, Employee Relations Specialist, Employee Relations Advisor

• Previous HR Advisory role, experience of dealing with numerous and highly complex Employee Relations cases

• Union environment

• CIPD qualified

• Employment tribunal experience

• Employment law knowledge and able to apply this in the business

• Public or private sector background

Working on employee relations cases across the route, supporting managers, mitigate cases from occurring. Supporting employment tribunal across the route.

• A proven track record in a previous HR Advisory role, in particular experience of dealing with numerous and highly complex Employee Relations cases, up to and including Tribunal stage across a number of organisation functions within a large complex organisation.

• Demonstrates strong commercial approach and understanding of business needs.

• Experience of development and delivery of manager up-skilling both individually and through workshops/formal development interventions.

• Up to date Employment Law knowledge and practical application of legislation.

• Passionate about customer service and delivering professional HR support to the business.

• Capability to establish professional credibility quickly.

• Experience of coaching and influencing line managers and senior business leaders.

• Strong time management, organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

• Ability to travel and work across a geographical area covering numerous locations.

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.

• Experience of working within a Unionised environment.

• Resilient, Adaptable and Flexible.

• CIPD qualified or relevant experience to demonstrate level of competence.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a broad spectrum of managers with varying levels of capability.
