Minimum Requirement: Business Manager with Finance experience  


London Team -The Leadership and Lifelong Learning Team in London is part of the People Directorate within NHS England and Improvement. The aim of the team is to deliver outstanding leadership development, at all levels across the healthcare workforce in support of the Interim NHS People Plan and the NHS People Plan once it is published later this year. The team works with our colleagues nationally and our stakeholders across London to provide opportunities to participate in high impact, high quality development which supports transformation. We pride ourselves on the relationships we hold and continue to build with our stakeholders – the team works closely with a diverse range of individuals, teams and organisations to ensure the interventions we offer are consistently responding and delivering to the needs of NHS funded services within London. Our work is varied and highly rewarding, with plenty of opportunity to use a range of professional skills and knowledge, whilst also developing your own professional expertise within your role. Ultimately, we work together with our colleagues across NHS England and Improvement to make a positive difference to the quality of care delivered to patients and service users within London.  


We are looking for a self-motivated, driven professional to join our team as our Business and Performance Manager. This is a key role in ensuring the team delivers our business plan and maximises the value we provide to local stakeholders. The role will lead the team in the reporting cycle on key performance indicators ensuring the delivery of our strategic objectives within all our development activity. - This is a varied role which requires a sound knowledge of business planning, governance and contracting and stakeholder management skills. The post holder would benefit from expertise in financial and budget management and the ability to interpret complex data, transforming it into relatable timely business information. In return, the post holder will work within a creative and highly motivated team who recognise individual contribution whilst valuing openness and collaboration. Fixed Term 6 month from start date.
