Our engineering client are currently looking for a Principle Architect to join their team on a 4 month initial contract paying £580pd.
A Principle Technical Architect is responsible for the design and build of technical architecture. This role will require UK Government Security Clearance (BPSS or SC). This role may be considered inside IR35 and will be confirmed prior to contract. The role will be home based initially (with an initial duration of 4 months but is expected to be longer) but subject to Covid restrictions being eased, will be based in Central London and Croydon.
A Principal Technical Architect leads at the highest level and is responsible for making sure the strategy is agreed and followed. At this level, you will: Network and communicate with senior stakeholders across organisations and proactively seek out opportunities for digital transformation
Support multiple teams, finding and using best practice and emerging technologies
Inspire other architects and help them understand how to deliver the goals of the organisation
Be responsible for governance, solving complex and high-risk issues or delivering architecture design

Bridging the gap between the technical and non-technical . You can mediate between people and mend relationships, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
Governance . You can understand how technical governance works with wider governance - for example, budget. You can assure corporate services by understanding important risks and mitigating through assurance mechanisms.
