1. Head of Impact Evaluation
You will lead a team of social researchers focusing on understanding the effectiveness of different elements of NHS Test and Trace and of the programme as a whole. The role will involve leading studies and evaluations to generate evidence, advising colleagues across the programme on their evaluation approaches and where relevant commissioning external providers.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with significant experience in undertaking impact evaluations, in particular someone skilled in using quasi-experimental techniques such regression analysis, propensity score matching, and difference-in-differences approaches. It will also be important for the successful candidate to understand how to apply those skills in a fast moving policy-driven Department and to be able to work collaboratively with users and our partner organisations.
