Strategic Social Media Lead (Social Lead)

Contract Length: 6 Months

Location: WFH- Remote

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Candidate: Up to £350 per day

Key responsibilities for the role:

Strategy & Planning

• Defining an effective and engaging social media strategy.

• Developing content, copy and posting plans.

• Building strong stakeholder relationships with the owners, and other relevant government managed social media channels

o Coordination of any paid media and agency activity related to social

• Content Development

o Ensuring content is adapted to suit different channels and work closely with the social team in Communications to ensure messaging and plans are aligned

• Work with the Design team to create great visual content

• Analytics & Reporting

• Creating insightful performance reports and presenting them to internal stakeholders

• This role will report to the Head of Digital Marketing

What we are looking for

Experience

• 3+ years social media management experience for global brands

• Experience in healthcare and/or government preferred

• Channel expertise on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube and others

• Extensive social media strategic planning

• Deep understanding of social media management best-practice strategy, processes and tools.

• Developing effective brand content

• Audience segmentation/ how to target key audiences

Skills and Attributes

• Managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines  

• Good relationship building, stakeholder management and negotiation skills

• Ability to deal with ambiguity in a demanding environment 

• Planning and organisational skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Confident and articulate, able to present clearly

• Self-starter, takes initiative and responsibility

Length – 6 months

Location – Working from home

Candidate and client notice period – 1 week
