About the role

Working with Core IT, as a SharePoint Specialist you will be utilising your expertise within Microsoft's SharePoint to play a pivotal part in developing, deploying, managing, and supporting for Core IT.

SharePoint is a key collaboration tool utilised by all our contracts to share and report valuable project information and insights. To ensure we are kept up to date with the rapid growth of digital transformation and maintain the accuracy, support and management of SharePoint, you will be working in an agile team alongside our data architects and development teams, taking advantage of the latest tools and automation processes to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of solutions.

The role also allows for the opportunity to develop skills in other areas of the Microsoft suite, specifically PowerPlatforms. The relationship between SharePoint and PowerPlatform tools will become increasingly integral to the Core IT offering to the business.

Location of the role is flexible, but travel to project sites will be required.

This role will report to the Document and Information Management Lead, which reports to the ERP & Data Platforms Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining corporate SharePoint sites, both customer facing and internal

You will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of a standardised contract specific SharePoint site across all corporate contracts

Be able to develop new Product specific SharePoint content to embed into existing SharePoint site to be automatically deployed across multiple tenancies

You will conduct hands-on configuration, customisation, and development of SharePoint

Be able to understand integration of existing software products, assist in the design of the system architecture, implementation of specific components, and helping to shape overall implementation

Use SharePoint Online administration capabilities within the Office 365 admin portal

Updating SharePoint site & management of SharePoint across all contracts. Out of the box solutions and a good understanding of Information Security management

Undertaking technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives, and developing best practices

Provide Support for Bugs and enhancement in different SharePoint instances.

Follow the Strict Change Management process for all development work.

Write technical documents for any changes and enhancements

Work with external teams and clients to improve SharePoint Solutions

Report deployed solutions status and usage statistics on a regular basis

Salary range: 50000.00
