Our Government client is currently looking for a Senior Trainer for a long term, Blandford based, contract.  

 

The person will be responsible for both designing and delivering the training. They will be delivering academic and practical vocational  

training and in charge of curriculum and course design management, devising and setting ,including marking of assessments.  

 

Please note that the role will be fully on site, with no option for remote working.  

 

The candidate must have a Degree in IT/ICT and Level 5 teaching qualification (Adv Cert Ed). Preferably, they will also have a Level 6 Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

Main duties and responsibilities will include:  

-Providing effective training solutions to add value to the business,  

-Identifying training needs and designing or expanding training and development programmes accordingly  

-Producing training materials and managing the process for delivery of training solutions across the business  

-Creating and developing key performance indicators and review all elements of the Training Life Cycle  

-Identifying any variances in participant skill level and modify training accordingly  

-Creating high impact, innovative training designs based on detailed analysis of business needs  

-Delivering tailored training programmes across the business at a variety of levels, including management  

 

The types of trainings will include:  

Engineering Science and Mathematics, Analogue and Digital electronics, Transmission media, devices and radio and advanced digital communications.  

 

 

Skills


• In addition to demonstrating teaching/lecturer qualifications of at least level 5 Cert Ed preferably level 6 PGCE and at least 2-3 years’ experience of training delivery/lecturing
• the candidates must also be able to demonstrate qualifications and experience in IT
• Maths and Electronics to at least level 6 degree standard. Therefore candidate must have a level 6 in a Science
• Technology
• Engineering Maths (STEM) subject with particular application to IT
• Electronics and Maths supported by a PGCE gained in one of the aforementioned subjects.
