Our engineering client are currently looking for an RPA/Automation Developer/Process Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

UiPAth Advanced Certificate, ideally 2 yrs experience,

Reporting to the Automation Technical & Operations Lead and working closely with other key stakeholders you will be instrumental in brining leading edge automation solutions.

The primary function of this role is to be part of the Automation Deployment Project team (Transitions) and future Automation Operations team and be in charge of designing, developing, unit testing the automation workflows and supporting the implementation of the Automation solution.

The role works closely with the Automation Business Analyst team in documenting / recording process details by;

Engage with team in implementing / testing the solution (manage exceptions) as well as maintenance / change control of existing artefacts

Manage, orchestrate, and control the virtual workforce as part of the operational environment

Focus is on continuously improving robotic operational performance and resource allocation along with improving robot performance.

Acting as the first line of assistance for the Automation solution in deployment

Ability to resolve technical issues and conduct system checks

Ability to perform troubleshooting to identify root cause and resolve the issue or reassign the ticket to our partners as needed

Responsible for the PDD development and business sign off on automations selected for development.

Timely delivery of the assigned automation (including reporting)

Responsible for the quality of the assigned automation

Responsible for providing periodic status on the progress of development

Responsible for moving the workflow to UAT

First escalation point for any UAT issues

Responsible for creating the process documentation

Fixes issues in development, UAT, production

Provides support to Business units for the processes during testing and warranty period

Provides guidance and help with process design from automation perspective

Responsible for estimating automation duration

Day-to-day monitoring, administration, and scheduling of Automation processes

Serve as first level support for Business units queries and incidents

Investigate any issues in the production processes

Raise change requests or support tickets as required

Workload balancing and prioritisation in conjunction with Business SLA’s

Day-to-day problem solving as issues arise

Reporting on Automation performance and improving efficiency of robots
