Our client a central government department are currently looking for a Programme Office Manager to join their team on a 10 month contract based in Aldermartson and paying £413pd inside IR35.
You'll be required to take a role in supporting the management and the smooth running of the PMO and key PMO processes; including proactively managing plans, issues and risks across a subset of projects, dealing with a range of senior stakeholders and reporting requirements.
The person will operate as a full member of the team; supporting the Programme Manager and other team members as directed and work with key stakeholders to manage the delivery of all aspects of the projects.
The person should have experience in the delivery of programmes; with particular emphasis on the management of suppliers and stakeholders. The person should have experience of governance and risk control frameworks; good planning and organisational skills; strong leadership; people and communications skills; and possess strong analytical skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence senior decision-making.
The person will support the co-ordination and production of various key monthly and ad-hoc programme reports, documents and artefacts as key inputs to programme governance meetings.
