Job description

This contract with Network Rail is for a Portfolio Surveyor (was Station & Depot Portfolio Surveyor) for 6 months. The role is located in Birmingham or Manchester and requires 2 days per week onsite and the rest remote. The pay rate is £409.00 Umbrella, or £301.73 PAYE.  

 

Job Description:  

 

The purpose of this role is to provide a professional property service in the commercial estate management of a franchised stations and light maintenance depots portfolio. To professionally manage internal and external customer and other stakeholder relationships for complex contractual, statutory and regulatory issues affecting the franchised estate and light maintenance depots and act as the first point of contact on Property matters relating to the franchised estate and light maintenance depots for all customers and stakeholders.  

 

Requirements

Experience: Qualified survey – background (Property Survey ONLY– NOT building or quantity or go to market with General Practice Surveyor background) role title changed in FG to Portfolio Surveyor  

 

• Managing maintenance dept portfolio  

• Landlord & tenant (dealing with lease and letting conditions)  

• MRICS qualification- essential  

• Rail – ideal but not essential  

• Will include land valuations  

• Understanding of how the rail works - ideal
