IR35: PAYE/Umbrella only
Pay Rate to Candidate: £19.71 per hour – PAYE
Description/Scope:
The contract scope includes the delivery of specific packages of work to ensure operational targets are met in line with the Retrievals Programme for upcoming projects for the coming year and realise the programme benefits of sustained hazard and risk reduction through retrieval operations.
Work as part of an Operations Support/Task Team to proactively improve plant and systems within B38 to deliver improvements in people, plant, procedures, safety, quality and overall learning from experience.
Minimum Requirement:
• Strong understanding of nuclear and radiological safety
• Familiarity of working within a Programme undergoing significant operational lifecycle transition
• Plant experience in Operations and / or Maintenance.
• Experience of producing and/or supporting implementation of Plant Modification Proposals and Safety Case Implementation Plans
• Experience leading on tasks comprising multiple disciplines in collaboration with relevant specialists to deliver physical plant changes in people, plant and procedures.
• Demonstrable communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the of an organisation • Self-motivated with ability to provide examples of drive, energy and resilience • Be a Monitored Worker or be able and willing to become one; good visibility on-plant is part of the role.
• Ability and drive to become a SQEP Person Organising Work with understanding of work pack development.
• Ability to procure, prepare and organise required materials, tools, equipment, plant access, various documentation and resource requirements to support the effective and efficient delivery of work.
• Nuclear experience essential
