Our government client is currently looking for an SC cleared Network delivery manager for a 42 weeks contract at £510 inside IR35.
Contract Length: 210 working days
Location: Mainly remote at present.
• Corsham. Mostly remote. This may change as the situation develops. Although attendance at Corsham may be required, it’s expected to remain minimal. Onsite induction (collect equipment/sort logins/meet people). Probably less than 5 days that week. After that come in when must. Living locally might be easier, not essential.
• There is Potential for some Travel but again this is very minimal.
IR35: In scope.
Pay Rate to Candidate: £510 – Umbrella rate
Role:
• 1 position required for LAN Tech Refresh Programme.
o The LAN Tech Refresh (LTR), programme is tasked with replacing the switches across the estate that are either already end of service/end of life or will be in the very near future. This is to address the potential security issues of unsupported equipment.
• 2 positions required for Obsolescence Programme.
o The Fixed Networks Obsolescence Programme is a series of projects working to remove obsolescence from the client's networks in order to preserve and maintain services on supported platforms.
Requirement:
• Essential criteria (skills, experience, qualifications) for all 3 positions.
o Extensive MS Office experience – Especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
o Experience of working with external 3rd Parties.
o High Level of Stakeholder Management Skills.
o SC (Security Clearance)
o Would be nice to have project manager qualifications – experience more important.
Role 1 for LAN Tech Refresh Programme.
• Desirable criteria.
o An understanding of Digital Network fundamentals.
o Recognised Project Management Qualification, Prince 2/ APMP etc.
o Experience of working within a Military Environment.
o Tech background – to work with Fujitsu.
Roles 2 & 3 for Obsolescence Programme.
• Desirable criteria.
o An understanding of Telecommunications networks
o Experience of working within a Military Environment.
