I am currently recruiting for a Marketing Communications Manager, on a 8 month contract paying £370 P/D inside IR35.

Job Description Key Accountabilities:

Lead on developing a communications strategy and delivering content to engage staff and customers in key aspects of its change programme including the 5 year business strategy, customer first and digital projects.

Identify the key audiences to engage and develop internal communications campaigns that will raise awareness and lead to behaviour change in the organisation to support change initiatives.

Work at pace producing content for use across the full suite of communications channels about change programmes, for example narratives and messaging decks, FAQs, presentations and internal blogs

Provide strategic communications advice to the change programme leads and other senior stakeholders.

Work collaboratively as part of the wider marketing and communications team, in particular working closely with the internal communications, events and content teams, and reporting into the Head of Communications.

Lead stakeholder analysis, using appropriate tools, and develop an engagement strategy in conjunction with other senior project leads

Ensure that stakeholder insight is used to inform the objectives of the project and to understand and map the changing needs of the project against stakeholder influence and involvement.

Ensure the right inputs are used (strategy, analysis and profile) to develop a stakeholder engagement plan with appropriate lead in times for the various communication channels, working with the project to ensure these are reflected in the project plan

Lead engagement activities and act as a single point of contact for stakeholders, collating feedback and developing insight that informs the project going forward

Build relationships across internal and external stakeholders, successfully managing engagement and communications to ensure buy-in, bringing in senior level support when required.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent all round communications management skills, with the ability to craft internal communications and engagement campaigns to effect change.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality and engaging content and stakeholder materials.

Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with a proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders to identify needs and communicate the programme vision effectively.

Strong organisational and change programme delivery skills and experience; a solution-oriented mindset and ability to find opportunities and new ways of overcoming problems

Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge of wider marketing and communications mix including digital, internal communications and events
