Our Major Public sector client is currently recruiting for a Senior Digital UX Designer on a 6 month contract paying £600 P/D inside IR35 umbrella.

Role: Digital UX Designer Senior

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Remote working

IR35: In scope

Pay Rate to Candidate: £600 Umbrella

Security Clearance: BPSS

The Person:

Looking for an interaction designer, with a focus on pattern libraries and strong HTML / CSS prototyping skills:

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with, influence and advise a wide range of stakeholders

• Confident and nuanced communicator who can facilitate design workshops and take the lead in design discussions with Product Owners

• ep understanding of user-centred design methods and processes

• Experience working across multiple products/services that can be large and complex in terms of number of transactions, technology complexity and type and number of users

• A flexible, creative and pragmatic approach to the challenges of designing real-world experiences

• Experienced using data to drive design decisions; ability to mine Adobe Analytics for actionable insights

• An expert in inclusive design and accessibility, you'll design with all our users in mind.

• Desire to strive for simplicity as a core goal for any design solution

• Comfortable with ambiguity; ability to frame and define problems

• Experience giving analytical advice and expertise regarding highly complex design information and issues

• Able to explain complexities to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

• Experience mentoring designers


• Knowledge and experience of interaction design in a healthcare setting

• Experience of working on high-complexity, high-pace and pressurised programmes

• Experience of collaborating with service designers and other UCD roles from other governmental, health and private sector organisations track.

• Applies political sensitivity, organisational skills and governance processes to ensure project success

• Working in lean and/or agile teams

• Experience of GDS practices and processes

Key Tasks and Deliverables

• will work with service managers and programme directors to develop design concepts

• will have responsibility across complex services

• will help set direction and embed good practice within teams

• will make important decisions based on research and understand how this research impacts others
