This contract with our Defence Client is 6 months long. The role requires travel to their Bristol location once a week.  


Job Description:  


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interpret workforce data and market trends to provide the Client with an overview of its workforce that spans various government bodies. Using Data visualisation, Statistical methods, and data analysis skills generate a central source of Enterprise workforce data that provides repeatable information that will inform decisions made by the team. The post will support the Strategic Workforce Planning, Skills and Attraction projects amongst ad-hoc requirements to the programme.  


Some of the main responsibilities include:  

• Produce high quality analytical products to drive evidence-based decision making  

• Responsible for Strategic Workforce Planning analysis and associated projections, pan-Defence workforce analytics, as well as data quality initiatives to optimise the use of workforce data across the enterprise.  

• Ensuring that evidence and analysis is designed effectively to drive actions and improvements across the enterprise.  

• stakeholder engagement, amongst people data suppliers to understand detailed elements of workforce to provide accurate data.  

• Work with external providers to fully utilise tools to better understand data to make informed decisions.  

• Spearheading innovation, including increased automation, adoption of more advanced analytical techniques, and driving increased future-oriented and scenario-based analytics to drive decision making.
