Our Government client is currently recruiting for Data Warehouse Developer, on a 1 year contract paying £600 P/D outside IR35, on a remote contract basis.

Role: Data Warehouse Developer

Contract Length: 1 year

Location: Home Based

IR35: OUT OF SCOPE

Pay Rate to Candidate: £600 umbrella

Minimum Requirement:

Microsoft database and Azure skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

• extensive experience in creating Data warehouses and configuring associated software for loading, transforming and reconciling data

• Building, testing, and delivering Data warehouse solution components in an agile way

• Creating and using (business) semantic layers for Power BI Developers

• Experience in using the Microsoft Azure product stack to build secure user access

• Leading technical design & development teams associated with the SENDE project

• Using Office 365 applications (MSP, PPT, Word, Excel, SharePoint)

• Possessing a good understanding of design & development methodologies, key strategies and deliverables that would be applicable for a Data Warehouse and Power BI project.

Scope of Work - Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• The creation and maintenance of Data Warehouse development standards that can be used across the group

• The creation and maintenance of the Data Warehouse platform according to the standards approved by the Cyber Security team

• Providing advice and guidance in completing the design & build of Data warehouses for business functions wanting to use SENDE

• Testing the security, backup, and recovery of SENDE

• Managing and directing other Datawarehouse developers.

• Identifying and mitigating potential risks for SENDE

• Operating as a full member of the SENDE project and BAU support team
