Our rail client are currently looking for a Communications Manager to join their team on a new contract.

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: London / Southern Region

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate: £400 UMB / 304.28 Paye

CV Deadline: Tuesday 20th July at 3pm

The role:

To manage and deliver consistent and effective communications strategies for key projects. To manage public facing passenger campaigns. To co-ordinate a broad range of communication activities (passenger comms, digital, media, stakeholder, community relations and internal audiences) in line with the comms objectives.

Marketing and Comms is the main focus here and the ideal candidate will be someone with experience in Public Sector facing campaigns.

If someone is from a heavy stakeholder background with Public Relations this is not what they are looking for.

They will have relevant experience in:

•Significant experience within communications and marketing

•Excellent writing skills and ability to think strategically

•Excellent influencing skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

•Knowledge of the media and how it operates would be an advantage

•Exceptional Organisational with the ability to plan and manage own workload effectively

•Previous Stakeholder management would be an advantage

•Previous experience managing the comms around engineering & construction projects

•Experience working with transport, construction or engineering industry
