The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

 Managing social media presence and providing creative input into social media strategy

 Managing routine and ad hoc website updates

 Writing and sending out weekly newsletter

 Supporting to draft and publish regular content for UKCDS blog

 Monitoring digital performance statistics

 Conducting research for communications purposes – case studies, ad-hoc research upon


 Supporting with pre- and post-event communications activities

Contract Length: 2 Month, 3 days per week.


CV Submission Deadline: Thursday 19th April @ 14:15.

Experience using content management systems (ideally Drupal and Wordpress)

Experience managing and growing social network applications, including Twitter and LinkedIn

Experience using communications monitoring and evaluation tools, including Google and Twitter Analytics

Experience using email marketing systems (ideally Mailchimp)

Some experience of using Photoshop

Proven editing and writing skills

Ability to plan and prioritise own work, ensuring that deadlines are met, and/or re-prioritise if necessary

Knowledge of the international development sector
