Our Government client is currently recruiting for a X5 Commercial Leads on a 6 months contract basis paying £600 P/D INSIDE IR35 Remtoe.

Role: commercial lead logistics

Contract Length: 6 MONTHS

Location: REMOTE

IR35: INSIDE

Pay Rate to Candidate: £600

Security Clearance: bpss

Description:

Managing aspects of the delivery of T&T Commercial contract management including contract performance management

Manage the full contract lifecycle, from signing to exit, for up to 3 contracts with Tier 1 suppliers

Manage Commercial contribution to all Change Requests and Project Requests

Manage Contract negotiations and renewals

Contribute to the development and delivery of the Commercial Strategy

Manage Contract disputes and issues and liaise with Legal

Develop and manage deep knowledge of Commercial contracts, ensure it is up to date, documented and compliant with Knowledge Management standards

Build and manage strategically important supplier relationships whilst engaging with executive stakeholders

Logistics and supply chain expert - 4-6 years experience (managing transport/warehousing contracts etc).

Procurer of logistics

Experience working in the public sector, preferably public sector

Experience working in a fast paced environment and/or consultancy background

OJEU, Public Procurement, Commercial, Contract Management, Strong Interpersonal Skills, Stakeholder Management, Numerical, Leadership; Line Management responsibilities, Negotiating and influencing skills

Proven multi-disciplinary experience in operational, contract, commercial and project management, contract management experience in a client-facing role or a Procurement setting

Experienced in setting and managing budgets and performance management

Strong people management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at individual, team and group level and equally comfortable and effective in communicating with front line staff, managers, senior management, Members and third-party partners

Excellent relationship management skills and able to build, develop and maintain positive working relationships with Services and suppliers

A self-starter with proven problem-solving skills and a focus upon continuous improvement and ability to effectively operate with a high level of autonomy

Ability to prioritise and manage high-level tasks and directives which may conflict each other

Able to produce informative and concise reports and make effective oral and written presentations

logistics or supply chain experience, hands on delivery, public sector experience, implementation focussed, central government) experience, deliver and work at pace, Essential logistics experience 2-3 years plus. Public sector experience preferably central government 1-2 years ideally. Private sector/experience of fast paced background - ex consultant/bank/similar.
