Our Government client is currently recruiting for a Commercial Engagement Lead on a 5 months contract paying £600 P/D Inside IR35.

You will be responsible for managing the Commercial Stakeholder Relationship Management for the DAs and to partner with the Category Strategy Lead on special projects.
Must be able to identify and assess the appropriate DA requirements, their strategic objectives and Use Cases to ensure these are consistent with the core principles defined in the DAs Memorandum of Understanding and are suitably captured within the Commercial strategies.
You will support the DAs, DHSC Operations and wider Commercial S&ME and Commercial Category teams in delivering;
DA USE CASES AND STRATEGY ALIGNMENT: facilitate the capturing of DAs Use Cases and aligning to T&T Corporate and Category / Sourcing strategies and pipeline data.
MANAGE DA COMMERCIAL RISKS & ISSUES: manage the end to end process including the identification of Commercial SME owners.
MANAGEMENT OF COMMERCIAL GOVERNANCE: ensure Commercial representation and take the lead where required for the defined DA attended Boards and meetings. Ensure reporting is consolidated and consistent.
DEVELOP / MAINTAIN DA COMMERCIAL ENGAGEMENT CHARTER: ensure the Engagement Charter reflects the changing needs and strategic direction of the DAs. Deliver against the planned task objectives and maintenance of stakeholder RACI and actions log.
An additional part of the role will be flexible and would require working with Category Teams to mature their category strategies based on DA input but also more widely to review and improve in areas of supplier market knowledge, demand management, supply chain risk assessments, routes to market etc.
The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced and quickly changing environment, where a strong set of all round commercial and senior stakeholder communication skills are paramount. Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, as is category strategy and public sector procurement. A self starter who can build and own pipeline of work.
The Candidate must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in the following;
• Stakeholder Relationship Management;
• Senior level communication skills;
• Experience in interpreting policies, Use Cases, and creating plans and category strategies to deliver against these;
• Strong experience in Category Strategy development; and
• experience of strategic thinking and application in public sector procurement.
In addition to the above, the Candidate must be;
• a self starter, with the ability to engage quickly with minimal supervision;
• a problem solver, with the ability to identify and focus on key critical areas; and
• highly proficient in Microsoft Office Tool
