Our Government client is currently recruiting for an Agile Coach, on a 6 month remote working contract paying £600 P/D inside IR35.
Role: Agile Coach
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: London and WFH (mix of both)
Pay Rate to Candidate: £600 pd umbrella
Security Clearance: SC – must have valid and in date

The role holder will be required to work across both programmes concurrently. They will advise on where agile can be applied in the programmes. They will lead and show how to set up projects for agile delivery, identifying roles and responsibilities, processes to be followed, artefacts to be used and how to use Jira and Confluence to support the delivery processes.
They will work alongside the programme managers, projects managers and PMO on a daily basis and the delivery teams formed for each of the projects.
Jira for task management. Confluence for reporting project progress and collaborating on project data
Core day to day duties:
Run daily standups, explain how agile delivery will work for each project, explain peoples roles and responsibility and correct behaviours when not doing things the correct way, guide projects on how to use Jira and confluence in the most efficient manner
Key skills, behaviours and values:
Stakeholder management, will have the gravitas and skills to advise senior stakeholders on how agile methodologies will improve the delivery success of the programmes.
Strong leadership in how agile will be used, tell teams what they need to do, what their responsibilities are as agile team members.
Explain how to develop and apply and agile mindset to project delivery, persuasive with project managers, addressing resistance and bringing them along.
Highly proficient in Jira - how to set up Jira boards, manage tasks, how to link Jira to Confluence to report on project progress and project health
Knowledge of Agile Delivery Structures
