Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an international, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy as a Senior / Principal Bridges Design Engineer in the South West of the UK.  

 

Based in my Client's South West offices you will support the civil structures team delivering projects to our clients. Responsibilities will include:  

- Inspections and reporting  

- Bridge Assessment  

- Bridge Design  

- Preparation of Drawings and Specifications  

- Site Supervision  

In addition, you will be expected to direct and mentor less experienced colleagues. You will have a recognized professional qualification and at least 4 years relevant experience. The successful candidate will be supported by the company to progress their professional development and career.

Requirements

• Relevant HNC or Degree  

• 4 years post qualification  

• Bridge Inspection and Reporting  

• Bridge Maintenance  

• Preparation of drawings and specifications  

• Bridge Assessment  

• Bridge Design  

 

Skills:  

• Self-motivated  

• Accurate  

• Good Written English
